Ali graduated from the University of Georgia in 1998 with a bachelors of science in forest resources before pursuing a career in nursing. She earned her BSN from Mercer University in 2003 and worked in critical care for over a decade before completing her MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner from South University in 2015. Ali has practiced in pulmonary medicine in Macon for the past several years.
