Dr. Jon Dean, a native of Columbus, GA, graduated from Brookstone High School in 1978 and earned his BS in Biology from Mercer University in 1982. He completed his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia in 1986, followed by an internal medicine residency at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Dean pursued a pulmonary medicine fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia, completing it in 1992. Following fellowship he joined Pulmonary Associates of Macon and has practiced in Macon ever since. Dr. Dean's clinical interests include COPD and lung cancer diagnosis. He has also served as President of the Bibb County Medical Society.
