What we help you grow
01

New service lines and revenue streams

Sleep, pulmonary rehab, infusion, advanced diagnostics — service lines that fit your geography and patient mix. We bring the capital, vendor relationships, and credentialing to launch them.

02

Panel expansion

A growth budget your independent practice can't self-fund — marketing into your catchment area, referring-physician outreach, and targeted clinician recruiting.

03

Strategic planning

Quarterly business reviews with a Nimbus operator who has done this work before. Long-range planning for capacity, real estate, payor mix, and partner succession.

FAQ

What partners ask first.

The ten questions we hear most. Click to expand. No question is off limits — bring more to the call.
Nimbus Health was founded in 2022 to build a national pulmonary network. We acquired our first practice that year and have grown by partnering with established pulmonary practices in geographies where specialty care is hardest to reach.
We are backed by long-horizon investors who specialize in physician-services platforms. We are happy to share specific names and check sizes under NDA during a partnership conversation.
Our leadership combines pulmonary clinical experience, multi-site practice operations, and revenue-cycle expertise. We've spent the last several years recruiting an operating team specifically chosen because they have done this work — credentialing, payor contracting, EHR optimization, recruiting — at scale, inside pulmonary practices.
We use a transparent EBITDA-multiple framework, calibrated to size, growth, payor mix, and the specific service-line opportunities your geography offers. The same math runs across every deal; we walk you through it line by line.
You keep practicing medicine. Your clinic keeps its identity. We integrate the back office — billing, credentialing, IT, HR, compliance, RCM — onto Nimbus systems over a 90- to 180-day transition. Patient experience does not change; if anything, scheduling and follow-up improve.
Compensation is set at close, typically a blend of guaranteed base, productivity incentives, and Nimbus equity. Benefits are standardized to the Nimbus benefits package, which is competitive with health-system employment in your market.
Most of our partners spend meaningfully less time on administrative work post-close — credentialing, prior auth, billing escalations — and the same or slightly more time on patient care. You set the panel size. We will not push utilization beyond what you and your clinical team are comfortable with.
Yes, with rare exceptions. We retain front-desk, MAs, RNs, billers, and management staff as part of the close. We re-paper to Nimbus benefits and pay scales; for most staff this is an upgrade.
Yes. From close, Nimbus is responsible for facility, IT, billing, payor contracts, credentialing, marketing, HR, compliance, and finance. Clinic-level operational leadership (typically your office manager) reports into Nimbus regional ops.
Many of our partners are within 3–7 years of retirement at close. We build a glide path with you: a defined wind-down schedule, recruitment of a younger partner, and continuity of patient care. Equity remains yours through close and beyond.
